
The state funeral of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II will be attended by leaders and heads of state from around the world.
President Joe Biden, kings and queens from across Europe, and leaders of Commonwealth nations are expected to attend the service at the abbey.
Members of the public can pay their respects to the queen while she is lying down. The state funeral service for her is scheduled to start at 6 a.m. on Monday. There is an hour and a half later.
The police official wouldn’t say how the leaders would get to the abbey. London’s Metropolitan Police is engaged in its largest policing operation to date, according to the deputy assistant commissioner.

The White House said that Biden and his wife will be at the funeral.
Spain’s King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, as well as the previous Spanish king and queen, Juan Carlos andSofia, have confirmed that they are attending. Queen Margrethe II and her heir will be in attendance.
The Royal Households from Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Belgium have all confirmed that they will travel to London for the funeral. Japan’s Emperor Naruhito and his wife Masako are among the monarchs from outside Europe.
The French President has confirmed his attendance. The link between France and the United Kingdom is not breakable according to him.

The German President, the Italian President, and the Irish President are coming.
The heads of state from the Commonwealth have also confirmed that they are at the event.
Some British lawmakers were banned from traveling to China last year because of their criticism of Beijing’s treatment of Muslim Uyghurs. The Uyghurs have not been abused by China.
Pope Francis has said that he won’t be at the funeral service, but will send a senior representative from the Vatican.
Invitations to the funeral were sent to heads of state from all over the world except Syria, Venezuela, Afghanistan and Russia.
Britain doesn’t have full diplomatic ties with Syria, Venezuela or Afghanistan, and relations with Russia and Belarus deteriorated after Moscow invaded Ukraine. Russia’s military has used the country as a base.
The U.K. has reduced its diplomatic presence in the country.
