There has been a lot of testing in the last few years.

The history behind Huupe

It takes a lot of time to develop Huupe’s machine learning and computer vision capabilities.

Over 100,000 shots were shot by us for this program. The first year was about collecting data. We had a lot of different people shooting. Different categories of people was important.

With cameras taking in data, Huupe founders brought in men and women of all races and creeds, trying not to leave anyone out of data collection. They practiced shooting with their right and left hands. The brothers would play and throw up random shots.

The hoop had to be moved into different places for different lighting conditions. We put a hoop on the back of a truck to collect the data.

Huupe had to learn the difference between round heads and balls.

He recognized his head as a basketball when we had a seven footer shoot on it. We needed to get more tall people in our data.

The second year was about engaging people with Huupe. Simply enmeshing basketball’s statistical competitiveness was the elegant solution.

There is a game that wants you to play more. You want to improve from the places that you aren’t doing well because of the triggering in your brain. The NBA players stayed in the gym for three hours trying to beat the high scores.

You can see where you can improve with Huupe. The platform showed that Anton struggled from the left side of the court, which allowed him to work on a skill he didn’t know he needed to hone.
