For the first time since the introduction of Legend Cars more than 30 years ago, aspiring drivers can get behind the wheel of America’s most popular spec series race car. The minimum age requirement for Bandoleros will be raised from eight to seven and for Legend Cars from 12 to 10.
The entry level Bandolero Bandit division will now include drivers who are seven to 12 years old. Less experienced drivers may be grouped together in order for them to compete against their peers. U.S. Legend Cars International and INEX will work with drivers to develop their progression at their own pace as their skills and performance improve.
Graham Smith, managing director of U.S. Legend Cars International, said that it was time to introduce the product to a younger demographic. We are proud of the safety and affordability of our cars and look forward to working with talented, young drivers as they join our field of competitors.
The company mass produces affordable spec series Legend and Bandoleros race cars for drivers of different ages and experience levels Since 1992, USLCI has produced more than 9000 race cars. The company sells race cars to drivers in 29 countries around the world. Dale Earnhardt Jr., ChaseElliott, Kurt and Kyle Busch, JoeyLogano and Tyler Reddick are just a few of the drivers who raced Legend Cars as teenagers.
