The Total-Body Workout That’ll Shrink a Big Belly for Good — Eat This Not That

Many of my clients want to lose weight in their bellies. If you want to trim up around the midsection, you need to focus on eating a lot of calories and getting in a lot of exercise. Resistance training is a must if you want to work towards a smaller belly. Now that you have an overall plan, it’s time to start working out. We created a full-body routine that will help shrink a big belly for good. Continue to read to learn more.

It’s best to choose mostly compound movements. They incorporate more muscle groups and will increase your calories burned more than just one joint exercise. I recommend that you perform full-body sessions at least two to three times a week with a focus on getting stronger or performing more reps. As a result of this, you will be able to burn more fat.

If you want to begin this exercise, hold a pair of dumbbell up to your shoulders. If you want to squat down, keep your chest tall and core tight. When you hit the parallel position, drive through your heels and use the strength of the squat to press the weights up. Lower the weight under control back to your shoulders if you want to perform a second rep. Three to four sets of 10 reps.

Place your feet on the footpad and grab the wide grip attachment on the row seated machine. Pull the handle out of your body. To squeeze your back and lats, keep your chest tall and drive your elbow back towards your hips. Straighten your arms and get a good stretch in your shoulder blades. Three to four sets of 10 reps.

To start your Dumbbell Step-Ups, grab a set of dumbbell and place your foot on a bench. If you want to step up, make sure your chest is tall and your core is tight as you lean into the heels of your front leg. If you want to perform another rep, lower yourself under control and flex your quad andglute at the top of the move. For each leg, complete 3 to 4 sets of reps.

Get into a pushup position by placing a set of dumbbell in front of you. Control your body by keeping it tight, hips high, and chest tall. You have to come down until your chest is above the ground. Push yourself back up after getting a good stretch at the bottom. Three to four sets of 10 to 15 reps.

Lying on the ground with your feet straight and your arms over your head is how to start this move. Bring in the opposite arm as you raise one leg. If you want to perform a rep on the opposite side, you have to crunch hard at the top. On each side, complete 3 to 4 sets of reps.
