Rock band from Reed City makes American music for everyone

Reed City residents might not know that a band formed in their backyard.

Since forming, the band has played shows all across Michigan, in Chicago, and even down in Clark’s hometown of London, Kentucky

There was an ad on the website.

Clark formed a band with guys he didn’t know.

Americana, rock music that derives from country, punk, gospel, surf rock, etc., is played by the Magnificent Bastards.

We are a group of guys who like to make music on the weekends. Clark said that they have a good time.

Clark was responsible for the bones of most of their songs. He would come up with lyrics, a melody, and a basic structure for the band to use in their music.

The band underwent some personnel changes recently, with the drummer stepping down to focus on health and the lead guitarist moving to a farm.

Clark said that he and his bass player sat down and said they were not done.

The brother of the lead singer of another local band is playing in the band.

No pun intended, the job was done byJason. He was familiar with the material, we were all friends, and it was easy to move on. Clark said that his style is different than that of the former guitarist.

Clark and the rest of the Bastards have a dream tour life.

We had a great time making music and hanging out. Clark said we’re all friends.

The Bastards play music for every man.

We make music for people who work in a factory and for women who drive trucks all week long to bring you the goods you need. Clark said that they made music for the guy who busts his a– all week.

Even if it’s the audience laughing at Clark making a fool of himself on stage, the point of the show is for everyone to have a good time.

It doesn’t matter to us whether you’re a punk rocker or a biker. Clark said that everyone is safe with the Bastards and that they want you to have fun.

The band will be playing at Okto beer festival. The band will be performing at Turnstiles Bar in Grand Rapids.

The band is getting back into the habit of writing originals with the new lineup and is working on an album for 2023 which is looking to be a very busy year for the band

Clark said they’re very excited.

The band’s music can be found wherever music can be streamed and they have a Facebook page. A music video for their song, The Other Way, was shot at Travelers in LeRoy and River Junction.
