A double-cut based on his personal Les Paul Special is the new signature guitar that Rick Beato is working on.
The model has been officially launched after Beato heightened anticipation for the model with some assembly-line photos back in April. Below you can see it in action.
The Rick Beato Les Paul Special Double Cut is a combination of two of Beato’s favorite guitars, a TV yellow double-cut Special and a blue Les Paul Standard. At 7.2 pounds, it is a slim little thing.
The Les Paul’s neck features an Indian Rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and acrylic dot inlays that make it easier to get to the upper-fret.

Beato’s Les Paul is light on signature touches but his signature can be seen on the truss rod cover.
The only difference between this and a regular Les Paul Special is that this is a quarter of an inch thinner, so it’s lighter. It’s very light and similar to my 1969 SG.
