Following their wedding in May of last year, Queen Elizabeth II gave the royal titles of duke and duchess to Prince Harry and his bride-to-be.
Since then, Harry and Markle have faced heavy scrutiny and gave up their senior royal roles in 2020 and moved to Montecito, California. There have been several petitions made online requesting that the Duke and Duchess be stripped of their royal titles.
Hilary Fordwich shared with Fox News Digital that the royals were “welcomed with open arms at the time”.
Since the fall in rank by the public, Harry has faced scrutiny from the media and British citizens. The title was given to the couple at marriage because they would be working royals for the monarchy, according to a petition filed by the Parallel Parliament. This title can’t be used for personal financial gain because it’s no longer the case. It doesn’t have a purpose and must be removed.

She will be taken through London in a horse-drawn gun carriage to her final resting place in Windsor.

The public outing was only for the Prince and Princess, and did not include Prince Harry and his bride.
King Charles III spent a day in private to reflect on his first week on the throne, as thousands of mourners lined up through the night to file past the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II. According to The Associated Press, the queue to see the queen lying in state stretched for 3.5 miles all the way to Tower Bridge. It went along the south bank of the river and then over the bridge to parliament.
After a day of high ceremony and high emotion on Wednesday as the queen was borne in somber procession from Buckingham Palace, the king was spending the day in “private reflection” at his Highgrove residence in western England. Charles has had calls with U.S. President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron and is speaking to a host of world leaders — many of whom will come to London on Monday for the queen’s funeral.
