Something pink is what I’m going to icture. It needs to be brighter. It’s a good idea to put in some tulle. Then some more. This is the second time. You should keep going until you see a cupcake. The person is Molly Goddard. It’s not quite. You understand the concept.

She has made a name for herself with her large-than-life dresses. They are one of the highlights of the season and bring a lot of dressing-up energy to the runway.

The designer became a household name due to her starring role in Killing Eve in 2019.

Jodie Comer played the role of Villanelle in the show, and she wore one of the candy floss-colored creations created by the designer.

There was something about seeing a dangerous character dressed in a happy outfit that struck a fashion nerve, and stills of the scene in which the character is wearing the design went viral on social media.

After Bey wore one of her designs in Black is King, her reputation skyrocketed.

Since then, he has pushed the boundaries of what it means to have fun with fashion. The skirt has become larger.

Guests at the Seymour Leisure Centre were drenched from the British rain, broken umbrellas and maybe I was the only one. The sunnier weather meant the mood was much brighter inside. Laura Bailey, Adwoa Aboah, Ramla Ali, and Edie Campbell were on the front row of the show.

There were four parts to the collection. A group of models followed a pattern around the gym before they all vanished. It all unfolded to the sounds of 1980s party hits.

The first part of the collection consisted of cream and navy, with full-skirted structured dresses worn over printed jeans and cowboy boots, and sculptural high-waisted skirts with threadbare cotton t-shirts. The pop of tangerine came from a ruffled smock top trousers which was offset by a black tailored suit. A single-breasted dusky pink suit went down the runway on a male model.

There were polkadots on smocks with tutu-like ruffles. The introduction of heavier printed fabrics on skirts and sleeveless dresses was seen in this section. By the third chapter, we were able to see what was happening. The smocks were made of cotton and came in two different colors. The cardigans were blue and pale. There were rectangular ruffled constructions in red and blue.

It was the fourth section that felt closest to the signature aesthetic. A full-skirted purple tulle dress was worn underneath a neon green button-down top, and sheer dresses were worn over striped co-ords featured in greens, yellows and pink.

The final look was an enormous white gown with more layers of tulle than anyone could count. Take a picture of Carrie Bradshaw’s dress. Triple it now.

The staging of the show was supposed to be a break from scrolling. The experience of watching in person is different to watching online.

The spirit of joy, optimism, and messiness we all needed was present.
