A local artist from Largo walked the runway in New York City.
He was part of a fashion show. The aim of the show is to let people with disabilities feel confident.
He can’t tie shoelaces due to his fine motor skills. He wore sneakers during the show that could be changed. His mom said it was amazing to see him walk down the runway.
He went to Target and bought a clothing line. Krista said it was magic.
His mom says that he has accomplished a big goal. The Learning Academy at the University of South Florida has a new member.

The Learning Academy is a program for people on the spectrum. Krista Capo said that they have the ability to place them into jobs and some of them end up applying to the college.
The man arrives at the school on his own four times a week. This has been a big step for him. She said that he had to get his stuff out the door.
The program has a success rate of 75% according to his mother. She wants her son to get a job when he completes the program. He is going to finish in April of the following year.
