Living Colour Release ‘Cult Of Personality’ Remake With Steve Vai

Living colour and Steve vai would make a great supergroup. They collaborated on a remake of LC’s mega hit “Cult of Personality”.

The two acts collaborated at the Rock In Rio festival, where Living Colour added extra riffs to a classic rock song. 100,000 people attended the final set of “Cult of Personality” at the festival.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Living Colour’s first appearance in Brazil, we are releasing a special edition version of ‘cult of personality’ featuring our special. The song was mixed and engineered by the original producer.

Steve Vai posted on his account that he was so excited to kick it with his living colour at the festival. I would have liked to have played all night. Thanks to the organizers of this historic brand and the band for inviting them.

The opening track of their debut album was as groovy as it was informed, taking on America’s political machine and celebrity worship.

It reached number 13 on the Hot 100 chart and number 9 on the album Rock Tracks chart, as well as winning a gramophone. CM Punk uses it as his opening music for his matches with the World Wrestling Entertainment.
