The queue to pay respects to Queen Elizabeth II reopened after British authorities stopped it for more than seven hours because of a surge in numbers.
People may have to wait for more than a day before reaching the queen’s coffin. They said that it would be cold at night.
The queue was at capacity earlier in the day when it took 14 hours to get to the park.
After spending a day out of the public eye, the king and queen traveled to Wales.
Line to Westminster Hall reopens, wait reaches 24 hours
The line to pay respects to the queen reopened after closing for several hours. There is a chance that people will have to wait in line for 24 hours to get to the coffin.
The temperature in London Friday was 60 degrees, but could fall into the 50s or below overnight.
The line snaked along the banks of the river.
Around 1,000 stewards and marshals were on duty, while authorities laid on more than 500 portable toilets.
People are expected to pay their respects before the funeral.

David Beckham was among the long line of people waiting to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
The former England captain was seen in the line of mourners near the Houses of Parliament. He is thought to have been in the queue for more than 10 hours.
After the park at the farthest end became full, officials stopped people from joining the line. The people who arrived were told to wait in the holding areas.
David Beckham was in line for 12 hours to see the queen.
Beckham told his followers how sad he was after learning of the queen’s death.

King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla visit Wales
The king and queen are in Wales for an official visit. The visit started with a service at Llandaff cathedral and will include a meeting with Welsh parliament.
After Queen Elizabeth II died last week, Prince William became the Prince of Wales, a title that had been held by his father, Charles.
Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the royal couple traveled to Scotland and Northern Ireland.

She said that if she didn’t celebrate it and be a part of it, she would be regretting it.
The line went from Parliament to the park.
The government wants mourners not to join the queue until the park is open again.
Royal family to stand vigil at Westminster Hall
The coffin of Queen Elizabeth II will lie in state at the hall on Saturday. King Charles III and his siblings will hold a candle light gathering.
The 15-minute vigil will be attended by Princes William and Harry. William and Harry will stand at the head of the coffin. The princes will be wearing uniforms.
The children of Prince Edward, Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn will also be present.
The queen’s four children will hold a candle light gathering on Friday evening.
Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to file past the coffin on the day of the queen’s funeral.
Prince William, Kate greet mourners at Norfolk estate
Prince William and Princess Kate welcomed thousands of people to the royal country estate in Norfolk.
Outside the gates of the 20,000-acre estate, the couple looked at the sea of floral tributes left for Queen Elizabeth II and greeted thousands of well-wishers.
William and Kate received bouquets from the public and chatted with well-wishers.
The House of Windsor’s estate had crown and jewels.
Jane Wells was one of the people who spoke to William about how he and his brother walked behind the queen’s coffin.
William said that the walk was difficult.
Wells told reporters afterwards that he said how proud his mother would have been of him and how hard it was yesterday.
The monarch’s private retreat is located northeast of London. The queen presided over many Christmas family gatherings when she was a child.
Buckingham Palace announces nationwide moment of silence
Two minutes of silence will be observed across the UK at the end of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
Some 2,000 guests are expected at the funeral on Monday, including heads of state and other high ranking people.
Japan’s Emperor Naruhito and King Felipe VI of Spain were both invited to the state funeral.
