The pancake was created by a 3-Michelin star chef and has everything you need for a quick snack.
Another TikTok recipe has popped up. This one is more mind-blowing than usual. A pancake was made from milk.
An invention of the 3-Michelin star restaurant Noma, the recipe was shared on TikTok by an ex-chef who quickly racked up 29 million views and saw users across the platform share their own attempts. The idea is to boil a pan of milk and make a crepe with it.
It sounds weird? We also thought so. People who have tried it can confirm that it works, and it is delicious. It’s quick, cheap, and full of nutrition, perfect for a snack after a workout.
Some people have found that soy milk works just as well for a vegan alternative as cows milk does, and both options offer a host of health benefits. According to a 2012 study published in Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, dairy-based milk has been shown to increase lean mass. This is the perfect post- workout snack because of the stimulating effects of the amino acids found in milk.
It is possible to make this recipe with soy milk if you are a plant-based or Lactose-insensitive person. Studies show that soy tends to be higher in protein than other plant milks. Like cows milk, soy milk contains all nine of the body’s essential amino acids, meaning that it can help the body repair and grow muscle after exercising.
Is it something you are interested in? Give it a try. This is a step-by-step, so it is pretty straightforward.
Around 150 to 250ml of soy milk.
The pan is non-stick.
Method
1, 2. Milk can be put into the pan. If your pan is larger, you can use more. Don’t measure it, just make sure it’s a couple of centimetres deep.
There are 2 things. Bring the heat up to a boil.
There is 3. Once the milk starts to form a skin, take the heat off and leave for a few minutes.
The following is a list of 4. Once it is cooked, it should be golden brown on the bottom and peel away from the pan. Have a good time!
