It will be one of the largest diplomatic occasions of the century when Queen Elizabeth II receives a state funeral in London on Monday.

More than 500 world leaders, politicians, public figures and European royals will descend on London to pay their respects to Britain’s longest reigning monarch, who died Thursday at the age of 96.

Invitations have been sent despite no official guest list yet being published.

The first person to confirm he will be at the event was the U.S. President Joe Biden.

Biden told reporters on Friday that he would be going but he didn’t know what the details were.

The presidents of Brazil and South Korea attended the Queen’s final send-off.

Liz Truss will mourn the monarch next week.

The Prime Minister of New Zealand and the Prime Minister of Australia are going to attend the event.

“I would prioritize of course, alongside the Governor-General, doing our duty in representing New Zealand and passing on theCondolences of our whole nation,” she said. A number of leaders are expected to pay respects to the Queen.

The close relationship between the Japanese and British royal families is demonstrated by the fact that Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako will travel to London for the Queen’s funeral.

According to the Imperial Household Agency officials, Akihito only attended the funeral of a foreign head of state on one previous occasion, when he was emperor.

Foreign royal families will be seated in the pews.

Spain’s King Felipe VI and his wife Queen Letizia will attend the event.

The Dutch royal house announced that the country’s former Queen, Beatrix, will also be in the congregation.

The Queen was remembered as an “iconic leader” and a “beacon of wisdom and principled leadership” by Jordan’s King, who will attend her funeral.

Not all world leaders are invited.

According to Britain’s PA Media news agency, Syria, Venezuela and Afghanistan have not been asked to send a representative.

The PA said that representatives from North Korea and Nicaragua were invited only at ambassadorial level.

The leaders of Russia and other countries will not be there.

A senior UK government source told CNN on Tuesday that diplomatic relations between the UK and Russia have completely collapsed since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Alexander Lukashenko is a friend of Putin.

Following a coup in the country, it will not be invited.

After the funeral, Queen Elizabeth II and her family will be buried at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
