
Even though he retired as a mixed martial artist, Georges St-Pierre still needs to train hard to maintain the ripped body that he is known for.
The former pro fighter regularly shows off these attributes on social media, taking on various fitness challenges including pushup variations from TikTok and a 10-second handstand, along with squats and stretches to improve mobility.
One of St-Pierre’s goals is to master the one-armed pullup. As he prepares for the notoriously tough test of upper body strength and stability, he demonstrates an all important progression that is helping him along on his way.
He says in the video that he’s working on a pullup. One of the basic exercises to do before you can do a one-armed pullup is a dead hang for 30 seconds, so you have to face the same direction.
St-Pierre is going to hang from the bar.
