We found a black silicone mask, a user manual, two electrical muscle-stimulation controllers, and a charging cable inside the box.
There are some medical reasons why people shouldn’t use the medi lift, so it’s worth looking at the website first. It’s a good idea to book a trial session at a FaceGym shop before committing to an investment.
It took us just over an hour and a half to charge the controllers after plugging them in. They were easy to get back into the shape of the silicone mask as there were arrows pointing to where the controllers fit.
Getting set up
We looked at the included code after unpacking everything. The addition of this to the FaceGym tools demystifies their use and can be useful for learning about facial massage techniques as well.
The lower face’s muscles and the cheek area are activated by the mask using electrical muscle stimulation. Designed to tone and tighten while improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkling, there are three 10-minute workouts to choose between. Simple facial massage movements were used to warm up our muscles.
Using the mask
We had a clean, dry skin to start with, and then we applied the serum to the three points on the controller. The electrical flow into the muscles is aided by the conductor gel of the Serum.
We put the mask on by crossing the middle strap over our ears and the jaw strap over our head. There is an extender strap for extra fit flexibility as well. It is important that the electrodes touch the skin to do their job.
We saw the mask light up when we pressed the power button. The 10-minute workouts are identified by the light flashing in different colors by using a mirror. To run you through the options, purple is a facial workout that alternates between the cheeks and jaw, blue is a jaw-definer workout, and red is a cheek-sculptor mode.

The controllers have buttons for plus and minus, which can be used to change intensity between levels one to six.
We could feel a sensation similar to pins and needles when we used the device. As the mask worked, our eyes twitched a little. We would compare the sensation to that of a Tens machine on the skin. The feeling became more comfortable after we got used to it. The cheek sculptor is the most intense, while the jaw-define mode feels more subtle and the full facial option alternates between the cheeks and jaw.
It was handy to be able to work or respond to emails while wearing the mask. It is a good excuse to take 10 minutes down-time. We won’t be answering the door while wearing the mask because it has a dramatic look.
The controllers make a sound at the end of your routine to make sure you don’t have to clock watch. The silicone mask was wiped clean at this point.
Best vitamins that promise to reduce wrinkling and prevent sun damage.
We did this when we tried the mask for seven days in a row. The full-face option was our favorite because of the stimulation. We saw an initial muscle tightening effect after our first trial. You would have to keep using to maintain that initial improvement.
After seven days of use, there was a noticeable improvement to the appearance of our cheeks and jaw. Our skin texture was smooth and we were impressed by it. We would like to see improvements with continued wear, even though we don’t know if the before and after photos capture a clear change.
We are happy with how easy this mask is to use and will keep using it. If you are looking for an investment buy that stimulates facial muscles and uses technology to help tone up, this innovative mask is a great choice.
