The death of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth was mourned by Britain’s Princess Beatrice at a ceremony in London. The photo was taken by Henry Nicholls.

The Princesses said how much they missed the late Queen Elizabeth and had thought she would be around forever.

The daughters of Prince Andrew, the queen’s second son and Duke of York, said that they had not been able to say anything.

There have been tears and laughter, silences and chatter, hugs and loneliness, and a collective loss for you, our beloved queen and our beloved granny.

Two of Elizabeth’s cousins, Eugenie and Beatrice, will join their cousins later on Saturday to pay their respects to the monarch.

Eugenie was seen wiping away tears when she appeared in the days immediately after her grandmother’s death.

We thought you would be here for a long time. The sisters said that they all missed you.

Our guide, our loving hand on our backs, you were our matriarch. You taught us a lot and we will always remember you. We want to thank you for now.

The two royals concluded their message by saying that the tributes that had flooded in from all over the world would make her happy.

“We’re so happy you’re back with grandpa,” they said, referring to Elizabeth’s late husband Prince Philip.

It has been an honor to be your granddaughters and we are very proud of you. Uncle Charles will continue to lead in your example as he has devoted his life to service.
