During New York Fashion Week, new fashion collections were revealed. There were new concepts and design innovations from brands such as Telfar and Kenneth Nicholson, who dressed Lewis Hamilton for the Met Gala. There were star- studded events to preview the clothing lines.
The athletes dominated the show.
A number of sports stars walked the runway during the week.
Four people made fashion statements by walking the runway. There were many shining moments throughout the week.
Serena Williams
Serena Williams opened the Vogue World runway with a custom metallic cape dress designed by Balenciaga. She walked along with four ball girls in white tennis dresses.
According to Williams, her newest collection is designed to provide everyday comfort.
Williams said that he wanted to design with people in mind.
Usain Bolt
Bolt was on the runway for the Futrograde show, showcasing the athletic company’s new clothing line. The gold medal winning athlete wore a tuxedo with a logo on his shirt. He posed for a picture at the end of the runway to close the show.
Bolt said it’s different walking. They told us to slow it down and enjoy it. I did.
Elaine Thompson-Herah
Thompson-Herah was in the Futro grade show. The reigning 100 meter and 200 meter Olympic gold medal winner wore a jacket and thigh high boots.
She said she’s looking forward to representing the brand.
Thompson-Herah said that the company that has been working with the World’s Fastest Man for decades was the right fit. I can’t wait to start, I’m excited to be part of such an elite group.
Katie Lou Samuelson
There was a unique spin to New York Fashion Week. She wore a brown outfit with white sneakers. She wore a wool hat to finish off the look. The fourth overall pick in the draft, Samuelson joined the team.
Kyle Kuzma
Kuzma wore a black outfit with a black skirt. He wore a shirt with a white outline. In 66 games last season, the Washington Wizards forward averaged 17.1 points, 8.5 Rebounds and 3.5 Assists. He has a five-year contract with the company.
DiDi Richards
The Liberty star walked for her mother’s brand. The other players in the front row cheered her on as she wore the orange dress. Richards has made a name for herself as a fashion forward and her role as a model made perfect sense.
“This is inside of her realm, and I’m proud of her,” teammate Michaela Onyenwere said. This is where she needs to be now that I have seen whatDur Doux is capable of.

Isabel Harrison
Harrison wore an outfit for the show. The Wings player wore a black criss-crossed top with a purple skirt. She spoke about how she willed herself to walk in the show even though she injured her ankle three weeks before.
She said that she had to wear heels for the show. I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. It wasn’t going to stop me from having my dream come true even though I’ve waited for this moment my entire life.
