Swedish rockers Crashdïet featuring frontman Gabriel Keyes, guitarist Martin Sweet and bassist Peter Young have unveiled a video for their track “Shine On” from their latest studio album Automaton, which was released via Crusader Records / Golden Robot Records back on April 29, 2022.
“While I can’t say I love everything on it, I can say I love a lot of songs on it.” The talent of this band should be seen by more people than it is. When I was waiting for Amazon to deliver, I tried to ask about it at a few local record stores, but they only had a few of their early releases. The person behind the counter, who looked like a punk rock chick, had no idea who they were. I heard one in the parking lot of a store the other day that was a complete rip, and I suppose breaking in America isn’t easy given the current climate of songs that expect the listener to look the other way. Strong hard rock and metal bands should be rewarded for what they do. Currently, they are not being rewarded.
