There is a county in Virginia called Chesterfield County. A man was caught on camera trying to get into a car.
The man was seen on at least three or four different cameras in the area.
The man in the video is trying to open the doors of three cars. After his attempts were unsuccessful, he headed over to the house next door to check the car.

Some nearby residents have reported similar activity on their ring footage. The homeowner’s association president is Greg Dorrell. He said he was disappointed.
It is not good to watch.
There were several robberies in the area between 3 and 5 a.m. He said the man was able to get away with a gun and cash. Young people tend to participate in these kinds of crimes, so he usually wouldn’t be concerned. Things were different in this instance.
“My concern level was low until I found out there was a gun taken, so it went from somebody just randomly searching doors to now we have somebody who is armed”
The Vice President of the community’s association is a woman. Hass thinks her neighbors were advantaged.
It makes me sad that someone would do that. He was looking for an unlocked vehicle. We have a very busy neighborhood. Sometimes people forget.
The residents said they called the police. The community still stresses the importance of locking vehicles.
