The band is called the CO-OP Band.
Dash Cooper, the son of Alice Cooper, brought CO-OP to the Main Stage for the Official Thunder Valley Rally Pre-Party from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m.
The sound of CO-OP’s show is big and powerful. CO-OP started gathering a small following in the local Phoenix scene. Within a few years, having shared a stage with rock legends like Mtley Cre, The Hollywood Vampires and Alice Cooper, CO-OP is expanding their influence outside the United States.
Dash Cooper’s powerful vocals mix a classic rock undertone with the strength and grit of modern rock, while guitar player Jeremy Tabor introduces heavy riffs mixed with melodic hooks that keep the music powerful and interesting The foundation is held down by two people.
Not content to stick only to pursuing their careers in music, CO-OP often puts their skills to work helping raise funds for the Solid Rock Teen Center. The work has brought with it opportunities to perform as a back-up band along with other philanthropic volunteers such as Alex Lifeson of Rush, Danny Seraphine of Chicago and Tommy Thayer of Kiss.
Music fans who love the heroes and outlaws of old will love Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts at the TVR Afterparty. They drive their sound with blazing guitars and a rock n roll attitude, influenced by the songs and personality of legends like Waylon and Willie. The band pays respect to classic styles, but anyone can tell from their overdriven sound that they are far from traditional. The band was named Colorado Country Band of the Year at the Ameripolitan Music Awards, as well as being nominated for outlaw group of the year. They are a touring band and have supported a lot of musicians.
The Miss TVR Competition starts at 2 p.m. Ryan Kruesi is a special guest judge in the competition.
Ryan is also a professional stunt rider, and has appeared in promotional videos for Continental.
Oklahoma City Rock Band, American Slang are featured in the official afterparty. Playing a mix of 80s covers and originals, they have quickly gained a reputation for their captivating stage performances and are consistently packing out rooms throughout Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas. It is rare to find a talent from a generation before. American Slang has more than one of them. After releasing their first single with the help of Dwight Hamlin of the “Wight Lighters” andCody Hanson of “Hinder”, they are back in the studio working on their firstEP to be released later in 2022,
There is a long list of vendors and food on Friday and Saturday. Badass Hot Dogs are included in the food.
Main Stage is open from Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays. Unless otherwise stated, events are free to the public.
