The first Australian Ninja Warrior is Ben Polson. He has a dedicated YouTube channel in which he uploads videos with a bit of humor regarding mindset and fitness
It’s safe to assume that Ben Polson knows a thing or two about how to stay fit with his impressive background in overall fitness. He already has a good lifestyle and knows how to do exercises correctly. He was asked how much muscle could he grow in 30 days. This is what he came across.
He wanted to know how much he would grow after 30 days of proper eating and lifting weights.
- 83 kg (183 lbs)
- 7.5% body fat percentage
Polson did a 3-day split of work out.
Push is an upper body exercise where you push against a resistance.
Pull is exercises where you pull against a resistance.
The leg is pretty much all revolving squats.
During the 30 days, he did 3 sets of reps of each exercise for optimal muscle building.
His body burns calories, but he had to eat more to build more muscle. He had to have a lot of calories.
Polson began to do drop sets and superset after the second week.
His body composition in the end was this:
- 86 kg (189 lbs)
- 8% body fat percentage
After 30 days, he had gained 3 pounds. It’s not clear if those 3 kilo were pure muscle or fat.
