With just over two weeks to go until the 25th Blue Mountains Music Festival in Katoomba, festival-goers can start planning their weekend with a full festival program available at www.bmff.org.au

More than a few of the duos on the program are folk, roots and blues musicians.

Lior and Domini are going to be in the line-up. Lior is renowned for his beautiful voice and songs that are honest and sincere. Domini Forster is a writer. A new duo folk project has been established by Lior and Domini after they collaborated on a duet. The songs from Animal In Hiding are going to be very popular.

Brother and sister duo Eileen and Lear Hodgkins play guitar and drums. This brother/sister duo has been steadily gaining traction with their unique mix of rock, folk and pop, laden with strong vocals.

The Montgomery Church are acoustic folk-country duo. Montgomery Church play a blend of folk, Americana and bluegrass with their organic union of dobro and guitar, vocal harmony and graceful song writing. This captivating duo are captivating in their intimateness and are a rare sight to see live.

Laura and Andrew Wrigglesworth are a couple of old souls who are steeped in bluegrass tradition and gothic Americana. The WeepingWillows will be performing songs from their new album Prelude is an instrumental on the album.

Saije is an award-winning, contemporary folk duo that has a lot to offer. After being awarded Folk Alliance Australia’s ‘Young Artist of the Year’ at the National Folk Festival, Saije took their place on the line up of some of Australia’s most prominent folk festivals.

Sarah Humphreys and Kris Morris formed Eagle and The Wolf after meeting and falling in love. There’s nothing fancy or fake about this place, just great songs and the truth. Two of Australia’s finest singer-songwriters were described by timber and steel.
