beabadoobee brought us back to our angsty, exciting teen years in first Manila show

Take a picture of this. The early 2000s is when it is. The bag is on the floor. You listen to a pop rock song while sitting down.

Beabadoobee sounds like that. You’re an angsty, confused, yet curious teen at the end of the day. Mom, it’s not a phase.

The Filipina, who was raised in the UK, performed for her fans for the first time at the New Frontier Theater.

With an audience mostly made up of teens up to those in their late 20s, it’s as if everyone came with the same reason.

Before opening the show with “Worth It”, beabadoobee said, “I’m back, baby!” while wearing a black skirt and boots.

She plays the first notes of the song on her guitar.

The crowd gets excited as they chant the lyrics to “Yoshimi, Forest, Magdalene.”

It’s good to be back home, but it’s even better when you’re singing and dancing along to a song.

She picked up her guitar again. The album I released was called ‘Beatopia.’ The song I like the most is called ” See you Soon”.

She asked her fans if they were doing well up there. She said, “You’ll like this one,” before singing “the perfect pair” She sat on the edge of the stage for a short time in front of her fans.

Beabadoobee played a recorded version of the chorus before he performed it live.

There are two tracks by the Gen Z icon that are about discovering one’s identity.

When she said, “This is gonna be a fun one, I promise,” the crowd went crazy.

Fans continued to sing their hearts out with “10:36” and she allowed them to sing the last verse “I don’t want to.”

It’s in it! She got closer to the audience when she jumped into “back to Mars”.

This is my last song. There was a crowd singing along with her.

Beabadoobee and her band left the stage after putting her guitar down.

Chants of “Isa pa!” were heard. She got her guitar again by herself. The lights were turned on so she could see her fans.

She said ” mahal na mahal ko kayo.” I would like to thank you for coming down. Thanks for coming, I was a little worried that no one would show up. It’s a big deal to me. They will sing this one together.

The crowd gave their all to beabadoobee and she giggled as she sang.

“This is our last song,” she said.

It was a great time as fans enjoyed the concert.

One final time, beabadoobee said, “I love you guys.”

A native of Iloilo and raised in London, she began recording music as beabadoobee in 2017: Dirty Hit is the same label that manages No Rome and Rina Sawayama, as well as many other artists.

She was nominated for two awards. She was able to perform at a number of events this year.
