St.Vincent took over as house band leader for a week on The Late Show in July. The musician publicly urged the Dallas Cowboys to book her to perform the National Anthem at a future game. They have never taken me up on my offer to sing the National Anthem at a Cowboys game, the singer said after Stephen Colbert asked if he had ever sung the National Anthem at a Cowboys game.
St.Vincent covered Lipps Inc.’s disco classic, “Funky Town”, for the soundtrack for the movie “Minions: The Rise of Gru”.
