TikTok has become one of the world’s largest social media platforms. Many people from Northern Ireland have become global celebrities thanks to the app, which has over one billion active users.

There is no software that shows the most followed or most viewed TikTok users from NI, but the Belfast Telegraph has compiled a list of the top 10 localinfluencers who have shot to fame with their online presence.

The Bangor mentalist has amassed a huge following on the micro-blogging platform, astounding viewers with illusions that have been seen 381 million times.

He has a book called Make Your Own Magic and fronted his own TV show called Life Is Magic. He says that his main demographic is children under the age of 18 who like to watch him perform.

The social media star loves Miss Great Britain and Dundonald.

A knack for social media stardom clearly runs in the family, as Joel’s brother has racked up over 900k followers.

He praised the amazing community that he has built through his account and encouraged other budding content creators to find what they love doing and do as much of that as possible.

She will be releasing her own music within the next year after signing a two year contract with Ostereo.

After seeing how big her TikTok account had become, some of her schoolmates wanted to shout out from her.

She told them to see how tables turn. I wouldn’t have this platform if I didn’t believe in myself.

Mammy Banter’s newfound fame has led her to set up her own digital marketing agency, write a novel, and perform her own shows.
