Two adults and three children were injured in a multi- vehicle collision in a residential neighborhood.
The fire protection district said the incident happened near the park.
The injured were taken to local hospitals by the Con Fire, along with CalStar and the police.
Three children stopped at an intersection and were hit by a car, according to witnesses.
There was one under the tire. He was not breathing well. Ronald G.Miles, who witnessed the crash, said that the girl was knocked under the bushes in front of the house.
The witnesses told police that the red Chevy was trying to pass the tan Mercury illegally and slammed into it, sending the tan Mercury into the children.
“My heart is broken for these kids, and I hope and pray that they’re going to be okay.”
Two people were hospitalized. At this time, their conditions are not known.
The injured ranged from 12 to 29 years old.
Rescue personnel and paramedics responded to the scene.
