The late Queen Elizabeth II is being honored by two people.
During the Toronto International Film Festival, the actors who played Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown spoke about her death. The United Kingdom and Commonwealth lost a queen on September 8.
She was an incredible monarch according to the actor. She was a huge symbol of continuity and dignity.
I think about her as a mother and a grandmother and a great-grandmother. She was a tiny part of her story.
The first two seasons of “The Crown” featured Foy as the Queen. The role was taken over by an Oscar winner.
I wouldn’t know where to begin with the Queen’s legacy. She kept a promise she made when she was a young lady. She did a great job.
Matt Smith, who played Prince Philip on the show, said that he heard the Queen watched the show.
Smith said that Philip was not a fan of the show and that she used to watch it on a projector. A friend of mine asked Philip if he had watched The Crown, and he turned around and said, “Don’t be ridiculous.”
The actor said that Prince Harry called him “granddad” for playing the late ruler.
Peter Morgan said the break was out of respect for the grieving royal family.
“‘The Crown’ is a love letter to her and I have nothing to add for now, just silence and respect.” We are going to stop filming out of respect as well.
21 titles have been won by “The Crown”, and it has been nominated for 63 awards. The upcoming fifth season will feature the first turn as Queen Elizabeth II for Imelda Staunton.
