Web3 enthusiasts were mingling with fashion designers. The NFT artists and owners were talking. The winners of ‘Love Island’ season 8 prepared for the event.

A group of people came together for a New York Fashion Week runway show that blended real-life fashion with Web 3 couture. The emergence of augmented reality in fashion was highlighted by the brands on display.

ChainGuardians gave attendees a first look at its Phygital Meta Street Wear collection, a clothing line that can be worn both in and out of the real world.

The future is where the phygital is. People will come to expect digital experiences in the future, that’s what we believe.

ChainGuardians had a virtual reality area where guests could look at and “touch” virtual versions of the clothes, which would later be seen on human models on the runway.

Attendees were able to try on the colorful clothing in an augmented reality installation nearby. There were physical t-shirts with a chip that could be scanned to give the owner an NFT.

The collection’s goal is to get people who aren’t familiar with Web3 to use it.

Women face higher barriers to entry when trying to get into Web3. The physical pieces of clothing act as a way for women to be more active in the metaverse.

When you wear a t-shirt, your metaverse character will wear the same thing. We can get women into the space and make it easy to understand.
