The Chinese delegation visiting London to attend Queen Elizabeth’s funeral on Monday will not be allowed to view her coffin at the lying-in-state memorial inside parliament, according to the British Broadcasting Corp.

Some parliamentarians were concerned about inviting representatives from China after several British lawmakers were reprimanded by Beijing. China doesn’t deny any abuses.

The speaker of the lower house of parliament refused access to the parliamentary estate to the Chinese government delegation because of the Chinese sanctions.

The speaker’s office didn’t want to say anything. The House of Commons didn’t comment on security issues.

According to convention, Buckingham Palace should set out the guest list after getting advice from the foreign office.

Mao said she had not seen the report.

The state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II is an important event for the UK. She said that foreign delegations that are invited to the event by the United Kingdom are a sign of respect to the Queen.

The United Kingdom should treat guests with courtesy.

The funeral will be attended by a host of world leaders. A British foreign office source said on Thursday that the Chinese vice president is expected to represent China.

The lying-in-state will be attended by other visiting politicians.

The Chinese ambassador to Britain was not allowed to attend an event in the British parliament last year because of the sanctions on the lawmakers.
