Ocean Springs is located in Mississippi. Several cars flow in and out of Ocean Springs, and the city is cracking down on uninsured cars.
If a person pays $300 for a ticket, the city gets $150.
According to the father, his daughter was mailed a ticket last week after the cameras saw she was uninsured.
She really felt upset by it. McCloud said that she doesn’t have enough money.
Champiomont’s mother has been getting tickets a lot.
They shouldn’t be doing that because it’s an invasion of people’s property Champiomont would be upset about that.
More people are angry at the situation.
Amy Divine has filed a class action complaint against several companies.
The nature of the case states, “Pretending to be law enforcement and making millions of dollars collecting fees from individuals who allegedly violated state uninsured motorists laws”
The suit is extreme.
I don’t think that’s right. It’s possible to say that this should have been done and that it wasn’t.
It should be the same for both parties, according to McCloud.
There is an issue in the city. They can’t stomp on people. McCloud believes that a warning system should be put in place so that both sides are aware of what is happening.
The city has received over two hundred thousand dollars from uninsured tickets.
