11 New Songs Out Today
11 New Songs Out Today

There are a lot of artists and a lot of songs. We talk about what metal is coming out and review a bunch of new albums every week. Music news, track premiere, and more are posted all day. Some of our favorites are included in the weekly update. There are a lot of new songs in one place.

“UNTIL THE KINGDOM COME” is a song by Sparta.

Sparta’s new self-titled album is out next month, and the latest single is “Until The Kingdom Comes,” which Jim Ward says “began as an improvised bass line in the late night jam with my friend David Garza at the hallowed grounds of Sonic Ranch.” Jeff Goldsmith and his brilliant soundscape smoothed and improved the edges of the chorus, which was the most sparse guitar worked by me. The track benefited from being isolated.

You have what it takes.

On October 21st, a-ha will release their 11th album, True North, their first in seven years, and here is a song from it. “‘Oh, this world, like a wounded bird…’ We live in increasingly confusing and volatile times, and there are things we often forget to express to each other, to our children, our loved ones, our friends, and the generation growing up.’ It starts with people who care enough to stand up for their ideals and the rest of us to support them. When I see the courage and conviction of the young, I have hope. Both of them and you have it. You have what it takes to succeed.

“NAILS” is a song by Noga ERez. Missy Ellis.

Noga Erez has shared a new version of her song. Julie Greenwald is the one who put me on to Noga Erez. When Julie reached out to me about this new signing, who was a fan of mine, she heard how excited she was about her. She shared Noga’s ‘End of the Road’ video with me and I was happy to see it. Noga has a quirky style like me, so when they sent meNails, I jumped on it. I remember listening to it and thinking about how our styles fit together. I enjoy working with talented new artists who are willing to be themselves. Noga Erez is one to watch.

The new single from SUCKERPUNCH is called “Cd baby.” “Cd baby is going to be with the world and I can’t wait for him to be there.” She is sweet and vulnerable and sad and special. I hope you enjoy her.

“Superstar” is a song by HOLY MOTORS.

The song “Superstar” was a 1971 hit for The Carpenters and has been covered by everyone from Luther V andross to Sonic Youth. Holy Motor’s version is both heavy and ethereal, with the dreamy guitar chords heavy on the bar, and does a great job of changing the chorus to fit the arrangement.
