10 1989 Pontiac 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am

It was a landmark year for the city. The Trans Am’s 20th anniversary and the world’s fastest and fastest production car in 1989 were celebrated. The TTA was powered by a 3.8 liter V6 engine that made 250hp and 340lb-ft of Torque.

The quarter-mile went by in 13.4 seconds at 101 mph. It was able to reach a top speed of 161 mph. There are two convertibles that left the production line.
9 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee Hemi

The Super Bee was the lowest priced model in the 1971 lineup. There were many power choices for buyers to choose from. The 7-liter V8 power plant was one of the rare versions.

V8 engines were put into average cars in the 1960’s to stay ahead of the competition. Cars that blew doors off the competition were the result of a set of wider tires, stiffer suspension, and weight saving measures.

The Dodge 330 was dropped to make a street legal race car. The compression ratio of the engine was 13:1. The lightweight 1963 330 Ramcharger was a drag strip champ.
7 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Yellow Jacket

The Challenger is a popular car. Special editions have been created over the years. The 2012 sr8 sr yellow jacket is one of the less-known ones.

It was powered by a 6.4-liter V8 engine with a rated power of 470hp and 470lb-ft of Torque. Dodge gave it a 2-mode suspension that utilized input from a variety of sensors. It has an 18-speaker 900 watt sound system for connoisseurs.
6 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst

A brilliant but mostly forgotten muscle car was created in 1970 by Chrysler Corporation and Hurst Performance. The 300 Hurst’s length, width, and weight made it an imposing car. This monster was powered by a 7.2-liter V8 mill that was connected to a 3-speed automatic transmission.

The 300 Hurst was able to go from 0 to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds and reach 140 mph. It had more luxury features than other muscle cars of the time.
5 1968 Dodge Hurst Hemi Dart

The Dodge Dart was created in 1968. It started with about 80 Dart GTS stripped of everything that wasn’t related to racing.

The car that was created was barely street legal. It was powered by a race-spec 7-liter V8 with an output of 450hp and 490lb-ft of Torque. It could run a quarter mile in 10 seconds and hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
4 1969 Dodge Charger 500 Hemi

Dodge knew it had to do something fast when it couldn’t beat Ford in 1968. The R/T was superior to the Charger 500 due to its flush-mounted rear window.

The 7-liter Hemi V8 power plant was able to produce over 500 lbs of Torque. The Charger 500 Hemi was able to hit a maximum speed of 172 mph with this output and it was able to win some races.
3 1967 Ford Mustang Stallion

Within two years, production of the Ford mustang exceeded one million, making it the most popular car in the world. The ultra- rare mustang stallion was created and marketed in 1967. It was advertised as a high-stamina performance car.

The standard power source was a 320-hp 6.4- liter engine. The 410-hp and 550-hp units are optional for buyers. Power disc brakes, power steering, and a limited-slip rearaxle were on the menu.
2 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS 35th Anniversary

The Chevrolet Camaro was the company’s answer to the Ford mustang. The 35thanniversary limited edition of the Camaro was offered by Chevy in 2002. The red-painted special car had a 5.7-liter V8 engine that churned out 355hp and 350lb-ft of Torque.

New SLP Bilstein shocks made it more robust. The power to the wheels was routed by a manual transmission. It took just 13.6 clicks to run the quarter mile.
1 2016 Ford Mustang Warrior Edition

There are a lot of crazy special edition cars in the sixth generation Ford mustang. The Warrior Edition was one of them. All 45 of the 2016 models are powered by a V8 with a manual transmission.

The Warrior Edition has 670hp and 545lb-ft. The GT Performance Package made it handle like a race car. It has a navigation system, custom Warrior badging, and a 12- speaker audio system.
